Looking in the garden for a shot, I found this Slug underneath a large plant pot. I noticed groups of little white eggs lying around and knew they were Slug eggs. However as I tried to get a photograph I saw something extraordinary, I saw a little white spot appear under the skin of the slug. As I watched, the spot got brighter and larger and suddenly out popped another egg ! I have never seen a Slug laying eggs before and maybe you might think it sounds revolting but I found it amazing.
I have posted another shot taken just before the top egg was laid and you can see the white patch on the side of the which becomes the egg in the picture.
