Are the canals going over their banks yet with all the rain? My aunt and uncle used to have one of these, a 50 footer. We got to use it for a weeks vacation along the Grand Canal several years ago. Lovely way to travel and see the country, and relax!!
@sailingmusic Thank you very much Myrna, we have not got any real flooding problems this side of the country, its mostly further south. I have not heard of any problems with the canals, I think that is to do with the way they were build to maintain a steady depth. It is the rivers bursting their banks which is causing the real damage.
