This is the result of a lucky find. I originally planned to take some shots today when I arrived in Aviemore, however I was late leaving and as I headed north I realised I was going to arrive there after dark. Traveling just north of Dunblane, I could see a wonderful sunset behind me in my mirrors, spotting a little lane off the main road, I drove down it, planning to photograph the sunset. However, I found this tree in a field, only 200 yards off the A9, and I liked the way the setting sun was colouring it. My other album features a B&W version of it.
