It's been a while, but now I am back, here is a shot from Thursday, taken in Hatchmere Lake, as I was having fun doing a bit of open water swimming.
I am swimming away from the shore in this shot, a view the other way is in my other album.
@gardencat I have been swimming quite regularly, in some wonderful spots, and i had been thinking about getting a waterproof camera to record my swims. then i saw the new GoPro model for only £99, that made it an easy decision. Quite impressed with it.
I tried one out at a local photography expo and was impressed with the quality of the photos it took but ended up spending my somewhat limited budget on other photography wants. It's still on my "may get someday" list but it would probably be higher on the list if I were younger and more active.
