CARRBRIDGE BRIDGE by markp

CARRBRIDGE BRIDGE

Carrbridge is a small village a few miles north of Aviemore, this is its most famous landmark. This old packhorse bridge was built 1717 and it is the oldest stone bridge in the Highlands. Just down the road from here is the Landmark Forest Adventure Park a very enjoyable and also educational day out. Carrbridge is also famous for two annual competitions, The Golden Spurtle World Porridge Making Championship and also the Carve Carrbridge Scottish Open Chainsaw Competition.
