@shepherdmanswife Thank you very much Chantal, it was taken at Martin Mere near Southport, a WWT reserve. There is quite a variety of captive birds, mostly but not entirely ducks and geese, in breeding programmes. There are also especially in winter huge numbers of wild birds, swans, geese, ducks and many other things.
