I was just getting a few more shots of the Goldcrest and he was getting used to me being there, when he was chased off by a Starling !!
You can see where he gets his name from, his Golden Head Crest is visible here.
You can also get some sense of just how small he is by looking at the Holly leaves next to him.
gosh you did well to get this. Goldcrests are still on my bucket list of things to see and more importantly get a photo of. Lovely shot of this dear little bird - Fav
