@ludwigsdiana Thank you Diana, no it is just a bit far away on a big rock.
This is a Eurasian Oystercatcher (Haematopus ostralegus ), I think yours lacks the white and is a African Oystercatcher ( Haematopus moquini).
The African one is very slightly bigger than ours .
