Approaching thunder storm sent me packing up the yard tools and scurrying in the house. I just sat on the floor at the glass doors to the deck and tried to get some rain splash shots... Tried a faster shutter speed but not enough light. No good. Will have to try something else next time... This is all I got but, I thought it was pretty durn good considering I shot it through a rain splattered glass door. =)
Through a glass door… I would never have guessed. It looks gloomy here today, although there is always something wanting to be snapped. This bloom looks like it was waiting to be noticed :) Nicely done!

Nicely captured, Maggie. I love raindrops hanging like this, but could never capture them. Nice detail in this photo and great to be able to get this through your window. Winter weather started here also and will be raining for days to come.
@marlboromaam True it is raining but do not want a wet camera. We cut back everything in our yard this year so all is rather sparse except for my Rosemary plant which I have photographed and have taken a photo of our pool and table before. Hmm, maybe I will figure out something.

Hey, Maggie, thanks for the suggestions, we have a porch that is very open, but nothing out there except for cut back shrubs that have been really cut back. A row of houses across the street. Hmmm, will figure out something or post a photo from the Park for tomorrow as it is my husbands B/D and we are having company and my son and I have to straighten up and pick a few things up. Maybe while we are out and if it is not raining, I can take a photo of something. Him holding an umbrella is a great suggestion, but the chance of that is next to not happening. Hmmm, I do have this camera that has great zoom so may see if I can capture something. I have so much to do, so will have to be a quick photo. Got behind with this moth today. It is still on my frog under our overhang.
I wouldn't have known it if you hadn't said this was shot through a rain splattered glass door! Awesome! The shiny water droplets are so pretty. Great capture!
I always love flowers with rain drops so I say fabulous! Not to mention rainy days are the best anyway.. Sorry for the lost work day but how nice to get to sit in the window and watch :)
i like how the plant seems to go from dark to bright as it nears the top!! such a pretty yellow and pretty droplets! looks like you and i both shot through the glass yesterday! lol.
