on March 24, I turned 21. Already had my heart broken and I was still seriously too damn naive. This was taken by my late father and his Pentax, at what was my parent's home in San Antonio, Texas - 35 years ago. I had driven from Hattiesburg, MS to spend my birthday with my folks. I didn't want a cake and candles - didn't want mom to go to any trouble. But moms will be moms. LOL! Happy birthday March babies and to me, too! I'm still alive and kickin' in spite of it all - a whole lot older and maybe quite a bit wiser. I'd like to think so anyhow.
@twinsplusone LOL! We were on our way to dinner at the O' club on the base. I do wear a dress once in a while. Didn't have a horse then. Had dreams of a career and making the world my oyster. Funny how things have changed since then. Thank you for the birthday wishes, Sharon!
