Yep! Trying to find out where I can get it fixed here in Columbia, SC. Probably will have to catch up on uploading when it's fixed, if it's fixed. In the meantime, on a strange computer and will try to catch up on your pics tonight and tomorrow as long as I am able. Fine thing to come home to right after the periodonist this morning.
I am sorry about your computer, Maggie. What did it do or not do? What are you using meantime? Hope you had good news at the Periodontist. I hope you can find a good, honest and reasonable person to fix it for you. Wish we lived closer as I would volunteer my son to help. Hugs if they help!!

@marlboromaam Just talked to my son and he said if it were my computer, which is the same as yours, he would google the problem or go to better yet, he said to go to - IFIXIT.COM. I put this in caps in case you have a small screen. He would go to the problem on this site and try to fix it. You have to open your computer and it is made so differently than PC's are but he has had success with fixing electronics on this site. Feel free to call when you get this if you like, not sure he can be of more help.
@marlboromaam I wish you luck and my son is off tomorrow, so if you want to or need to call, please do. Meantime, I am with Deb, have a glass of wine and may have to call Apple in the morning if all else fails. Pleasant dreams.
Mine Crashed Last year i had over 40,000 pics on it i brought it in and had them download all of my pics to a external hard drive and it started working again...I dont know if that is your problem but pics take up alot of space!! Gods Speed Maam!!
Great point by Ellen, if you do not have backup for your photos, I would make sure you can save those first of all and if that is possibly the problem that would be an easy fix. Then backup after that all of the time. I back up my computer every day to an external hard drive.
Sorry to hear about your computer problems. That's the worst! Recently had some problems after losing power several times during a storm but got everything back running again. Good luck!

Macs are odd machines. I thought mine had crashed and sent it for repair and the guy said nothing was wrong with it and it had magically started working while it sat in the repair shop. Lets hope your Mac is scared of repair men too! Hope its better soon!
