If I focus on the moon, the trees are blurry. If I focus on the trees, the moon is blurry. I opted to focus on the moon.
Again, filler. I didn't get the front yard mowed today and I am so far behind with all of you on your pics. My business took me a few hours longer than I expected today, but the outcome is VERY hopeful! Will catch up on your pics as soon as I can.

It's a nice moon shot. I'm personally struggling on what to focus on & what not to focus and how do I even focus. I had a fantastic opportunity this morning and I totally messed up with my focus (again) ! :(

@myhrhelper You can always practice with focusing on the foreground shot, then the same with the background, and then the middle. It's good experience to practice selective focus technique. Thank you for the compliment, Kathy! My interview was yesterday and it was nothing like what I was expecting. I'll have to tell you about it sometime, but... pending the results of my background check and drug test, it's a done deal. They said it could take one to three weeks to get the results of both back and to be on the lookout for an email about orientation.
Gorgeous shot, and how wonderfully appropriate for this date! It was 43 years ago today (7/20) that Neil Armstrong uttered these historic words: "Tranquility Base here. The Eagle has landed." The Sea of Tranquility is the large smooth dark patch on the lower right edge of your lovely moon portrait.
@beteljooz Wow! I had no idea about the date. Thank you for telling me and thank you for your most gracious remarks! This is about the best moon shot I can get with my camera. If I zoom much bigger than this, it gets grainy. So I decided to keep my "moon compositions" to include clouds and tree branches. =)
Outstanding photograph!! The focus on the moon looks really good. Even though the tree is out of focus, I think it adds a wonderful frame! Great job once again!!
