I have no clue how I got some little light flares on this web since it was not wet. I did enhance them just a bit to make them and the web stand out a little better. Sort of golden - maybe? No? Oh well!
Still trying to stay ahead on my posts. Today (8/14) will be the start of a new job for me and I don't know how I will balance my time here and give work all I've got to give it, too. Just bear with me until I can figure it all out.
Oh, maggie, first of all, I want to wish you all the best as you begin your new job. I have no doubt you "will give it all you have"--that just seems to be the way you do everything. You go, girl!!!!!
@marlboromaam Best wishes for much success in your new job, Maggie. Try not to stress out over 365. You've been such a good follower. I cannot imagine anyone not understanding if you get behind. :)
Oh wow - a web spun from gold. Brilliantly captured against the timber background. Lots of luck in your new job Maggie. No one is going to be upset if you miss commenting - you have been an amazing support to so many on this project - life takes over sometimes - put yourself first!
Awesome warm tones! The tiny flares make it seem like this is a web of the finest spun gold threads in the world! Your shot has a magical, fairytale quality about it. Wonderful capture. 8) Hope everything goes well at work!
Maggie, I hope your first day goes well for you. I love the effects you added to the intricately designed web...adds to the magic! Not to worry about keeping up here---everyone understands! Just do what you can and don't overdo it.....hugs.
I apologize for the mass reply! Time is running short and I have to leave in just a little bit for my training/orientation and assimilation day. Ever since "The Borg" and the deeper meaning here, that word "assimilation" bothers me. Star Trek fans will know what I mean. LOL! Just wanted to thank all of you for your kind comments and support! It means so very much to me! No cameras or cell phones allowed in the facility, so I won't be able to shoot anything inside but maybe I can get a decent shot of the outside of the place today to post later on. I have lots of questions to ask my new employer today. Cheers! Hope to catch up with all your pics as soon as I'm able!
Wonderful detail!! The light is hitting it just right to get those beautiful flares! Great shot, Maggie! Good luck with your new job. I am so excited for you. Don't get all worried about keeping up here. You just do what you can and everyone will be ok. It will all balance out perfectly:)
i can totally relate to the time constraints. i am packing a house to lease/sell. we'll get through this together! it is painful. great picture, BTW! :)
Again, I hate to give this mass reply... Each of you has been so kind to take the time to comment on my pic and new job situation! Your efforts deserve so much more than this. Thank you for your understanding and wonderful comments! I really appreciate every single word you wrote. Should be able to catch up with you and your pics this weekend! It was a pretty easy first day of orientation and "assimilation", my shift and more training actually begin tomorrow. Really appreciate all the prayers and wishes for success!
@simon0128 Thank you for your comments and the fav, Simon! Most appreciated. No flash. Just Photoshop and Perfect Photo Suite.

What a gorgeous shot, Maggie. Love the golden colors. Hope today went well for you at your new job. Just read above and sounds like you got through day one just fine. My best to you for the rest of this week. Hugs!
Gorgeous lighting on that web ... I can't even get a good photo of one when it's wet with droplets! I am so happy for you to have this job and get back to a normal life again, Maggie. Wish you the best always. And don't worry about comments ... we all understand. I won't desert you. Never.
Beautifully done. I like the quality of the exposure. The actual web fibres are reflecting the light and that is great as a detail. Nicely controlled highlights too.
i think this is different from what we will mostly see for the theme golden! i like it! it's so much fun to see what ppl come up for themes. i hope all is going well with your job:) it is hard Maggie to balance it all with work and all of the other daily chores!!
Oh Maggie I wish you the Best on your New Job! We are all rooting for you!! And we will still be here when you get it all figured out! i had to basically take a week off or more to help clean out my Dads house..so i know how you feel!! This shot is Golden and would be great for the theme! Enjoy your Job experience..i am so happy for you :)
GORGEOUS, Maggie! The flares are probably the angle with the light hitting it.... so pretty! Hope all goes well with your new job!!! what will you be doing?
with reference to balancing your time on here with your new work...it goes without saying that your new work is your top priority....365 is a hobby....we will all be here waiting for you to post again...we are not going to forget our friend maggie because she doesn't post or comment for a while ........so don't worry about 365 ...get your new work on track. Take Care Maggie :)

@marlboromaam Missing you also but your first priority is your job and taking care of you and your home. I am with Vertigo again, guess I overdid it and hope it goes away soon. Off to ice my neck. Hugs!!
