Matching beach bag for the 1960s style beach hat...
Crocheted with REPURPOSED plastic bags. The bags were white with black lettering which gives the items a speckled look. Handy front pocket is useful for sunglasses and other small items.
@joysabin Thank you! I posted a link to a video on YouTube with the shoulder tote. I'm very happy you're going to give it a go! I use an aluminum size K hook. They don't get quite as warm and stick to the plarn like other hooks will when you're moving along quickly. I can't wait to see what you create! Handmade one of a kind items are very special. =)
@koalagardens Thank you, but I really believe anyone can learn to crochet. I'm self taught since I had the attention span of a gnat so long ago when my grandmother tried to teach me. =)
@dutchothotmailcom Thank you, Esther! Done that. Strangers want you to practically give your work away and I'd rather give them to friends who love handmade one of a kind things to wear. =)
@milaniet Thank you, Milanie! I've made lots of hats and beach bags, purses and totes. I'm not inspired to make clothes out of them - although there are some that do.
@aikiuser Thank you, Jenn! I have a lot of crocheted wearables to list. I have few friends who have shops on Etsy. They say they're not selling much because people are afraid of catching the virus from the items and/or the packaging. We'll see.
