The green dome...

Okay, I admit I have a fascination with some trees and plants. This sparkleberry tree, shorter than the rest of the other trees, caught me eye late one morning because it's branches and leaves seemed to make an almost perfect green dome.

Trees are beautiful aren't they. I love to be amongst trees and I am often drawn to those that are different and emit a heightened energy. This one is particularly beautiful with its delicate branches twisting and bending as it carries the weight of its greenery.

I see several X marks where trees cross and lots of twists and turns in the branches... the tops of the trees in the center do seem to sparkle.

@kvphoto You have a great eye, KV! I think a fallen branch is part of the X. The leaves do sparkle in the light. They are darker, round and waxlike.

When my kids where younger I would block the back part, make them a door and they have their own tree hut. ( dome).
