Cloud formation...

This lovely field is right off a very busy four-lane highway, so no time for perfect settings. I wanted to capture that lovely cloud formation, but this doesn't do it justice.

The lines of the trees, the field, the fence create pleasant layers of character in this photo. And then all those amazing clouds to top it off! (That's cool that you've got a mantis that hangs out near your back door. We get attached to these critters that share the planet with us in close proximity, don't we. The robin's beak is slowly repairing itself. I buff the tip on a regular basis to wear away the scar tissue; new, properly colored beak is growing underneath which gives me hope yet that the top and bottom beak will someday meet at the tip.)
