Green man down! by marlboromaam

Green man down!

Quick, call the 911 handyman... Yeah, I'm the handy person around here. LOL! My lovely green man fell off his nail on the fence and thank goodness - he didn't break! My crazy concrete yard art is the closest I'll get to a gorgeous gothic cathedral. Needs a good scrub with some clorox too!

Thank goodness he did not break! but as you say a great opportunity to give him some TLC and a wash.

Are you sure you wanna clean it, looks kinda cool with the green stuff ;-)

The green gives him "character"!

I like your mouldy oldie just the way he is, what a character!

very good - hope he is ok now

Great character. Maybe he was trying to escape!

@kgolab Thanks! Unlike stone, concrete critters will crumble if not kept clean.

@dutchothotmailcom Thanks, Esther! If it were carved from stone - sure. Concrete critters on the other hand, will crumble if not kept clean.

@milaniet It does but that character will make concrete crumble if left uncleaned. If it was carved from stone, it would be great.

@ludwigsdiana Thanks, Diana! He may remain as is for a while yet.

@wakelys Thanks, Susan! He may have been. The nail was all bent under the weight of him.

Isn't he supposed to be green?!

Poor green man; do I see a bump on his head? He will get over the fall and with a good scrubbing will look as good as new.

Nicely captured - glad he survived the fall!

And yes please feel free to post yesterday’s photo.

A good scrub and he'll be as good as new. can you use a big screw instead of a nail to hang him back up.
September 8th, 2020
poor thing, he wanted to rest on the ground, a good clean and it will be as good as new
September 8th, 2020
