So he can swim in it! I could use one myself. My internet has been down for almost two days! That's AT&T for ya. Will catch up with all of you as fast as I can and as long as I still have internet. It's kind of iffy at this point.
In the meantime, My father's recipe for hot buttered rum is a big request from friends this time of year, especially when it's cold. Guaranteed to warm you right up!
Ingredients for my dad's hot buttered rum recipe:
Your favorite rum - I prefer Captain Morgan's spiced rum
Apple Cider - it really is better if you use Bragg's unpasteurized and it can be found in the cooler section of your grocery store.
Real butter - margarine just doesn't work and ruins the taste
Cinnamon sticks
Nutmeg
Heat your apple cider on the stove top to a low bubble. Pour two fingers of rum in your mug. Add one pat - one slice (about 1 tablespoon) of butter. Add a good pinch of nutmeg. Put in your cinnamon stick and pour your hot apple cider into your mug - fill it up. Stir with your cinnamon stick, sit back, savor the flavors and let it warm your innards right up! Yum!
@sherimiya LOL! I thought all the hoopla with the Solar Winds hack had taken out 365's servers along with all my other web pages. Happy to be back. Thank you!
Thank you very much, Santina! You are welcome. Spread the warmth!
I am not a big fan of Rum !
