While I plop right down here and do some serious chewing on this pine cone - before mom takes it away from me. She says it'll give me worms and might upset my tummy. LOL! Phone shot.
@marlboromaam I don't think they're that common over here either. I did think about getting one, or a Sheltie, but couldn't find one of those either. Settled on a Pom!
@marlboromaam Possibly but I would like to see the parents and its surroundings. Puppy farms are common in Wales and Ireland. My poor little Pom (I'm his 3rd owner) was a Russian export and a bag of nerves near dogs and cars.
@fbailey Poor thing! I hope he's better now. The breeder I got Will Connor from sent photos and videos of the parents and the puppies. Because of COVID, no visits were allowed except to pick up the pup. I had to choose a pup from the pics and videos... I think I chose well. =)
His robe is so beautiful. Did he let it go? My big boy was a chewer when he was younger and it was challenging to have him spit whatever he had in his mouth :-)
@jgpittenger I've had to take him to the vet three times for plumbing trouble - bleeding from his little rectum. Vet said no sticks, pine cones, etc. Apparently, he has sensitive innards, but I'm hoping he'll outgrow it. After the last HUGE vet bill for the prior mentioned symptoms, I watch him very closely.
Will looks right at home laying there in the carpet of leaves and grass. It seems like a full time job keeping these fools safe for their first 2-3 years of their life. After that they start looking after their master on what they can do for you. Gotta love those dogs. Great portrait of Will.
@photographycrazy Thank you.
@cocobella LOL! He's passed the stage of chewing on everything except sticks, pine cones and sweet gum balls. I'm forever taking them away from him.
@fbailey Pom's are nice! Strange you couldn't find a rough collie where you are when they hail from Scotland.
@wakelys Ha ha! for the moment. Thanks, Susan.
@corinnec Thank you so much, Corinne. LOL! I usually have to wrestle him to take it away.
@kjarn Thank you, Kathy.
@shutterbug49 Thank you!
@dkellogg Thank you, David. It is a full time job, but you know it's worth it. =)
@amyk LOL! Thank you, Amy.
@monikozi Thank you, Monica. =)
@ludwigsdiana Thank you, Diana.
@johnfalconer Thank you, John.
@ludwigsdiana Thank you very much, Diana.
@pusspup Thank you, Wylie.
@salza Thank you, Sally. They used to be so popular here, but not now. I can't understand why. They have such a sweet temperament.
