Better, but a loss of detail...

And it's grainy which is what happens when I zoom in too close with my Kodak. The wild pansy, not the cultivated hybrid variety. The white (actually yellow) specks are tree pollen. More info on this little wildflower here - http://namethatplant.net/plantdetail.shtml?plant=1656
But still beautiful.

First time I see a wild pansy. It's beautiful and the lack of details on the edge makes it very dreamy. A poetic pic.

Our fields are full of these - I call them Johnny Jump-Ups - one of the first of the little flowers to emerge. Nice detail

@milaniet Thank you, Milanie. They are smaller than a dime, but so pretty. Would be nice to see a field of them instead of scattered about in my yard. Everything seems to be blooming now. I wonder if there will be anything to shoot in No Mow May.

Beautiful little flower. Sometimes a bit of grain is worth it. It looks very nice on my screen, maybe just not good for printing.

But it is a gorgeous shot! The grain just adds to the romantic feel. It works very well as a spring wishing card.
