Still a lot of work to do. I don't think the horseshoe pits will get redone this year. Need about five big bags of sand and new frames for it. Anyone like to pitch horseshoes? It's a game for those across the pond. You toss horse shoes from about 30 feet away into a sand pit with a short steel post and try to get the horseshoe around it. There are two sand pits at opposite ends.
Beautiful backyard Mags. Great place for Will to run and play. Love the sunburst too. I play horseshoes in my backyard- not very good at it, but it’s a fun game. Bo lays in the sand pit and falls asleep sometimes.
@dkellogg Thank you, David. Now, I would expect most Texans to play horseshoes. =) It is a fun game. Will would probably dig mine out if there was any sand left in them. The wooden frames are old and rotten, too. One of these days...
