Good news! I can pick up my iMac tomorrow (Friday, June 22). They put in a new hard drive and were able to recover from the old one, but how much - they aren't sure. Will be up to me to see what was recovered when I get it home and hooked up to the external drive. Gotta back up what Carbonite won't back up which is a lot, actually... found out much to my disappointment.
Good news, Maggie! Yippee! I also have Carbonite and according to my computer and them, all my files & everything else is backed up. Now I need to worry. I just renewed with them for another year. What didn't they back up?

I'll have to pull that back up again and give you the link. Give me a little time. I remember you have to manually add those items and I did not do that!

Welcome home, iMac!! You'll soon be back in the groove again, girlfriend. I thought that Carbonite was supposed to be pretty good too. I hope that you can recover everything.
