in a mirror series challenge. I know Sheila is up for it! LOL! If you are interested, please tell me in comments. I am trying to get an idea of how many are interested to see whether or not it would be worth posting in discussions. If few, I will just use one of my posts for it. Hoping I can get three folks I have in mind to judge the works.
@marlboromaam Maggie, it would be good for me, because I know it would be a great way for me to learn. Just not sure I'm ready yet. Let me know when you're starting.
@marlboromaam Aw shucks...thanks...:) but the thing is, for me, is that photography is about capturing the beautiful vision that has appeared before me. And, the truth is that I fumble and stumble when trying to come up with something new and inventive.... but that's just me...You creative types really amaze me!
@pammerritt That is good news! Do find a mirror! I found mine at Wally World a few years back. It hung in my office until I was laid off. It will be fun, I think! Thank you for your comment about my pic, too!
@grannysue Nothing to be afraid of, Linda! Mine came from Wally World a while ago - was very inexpensive. It hung in my office until I was laid off and had to pack up and leave. No. No job yet. They don't seem to want hire the over 55. And I know, that's illegal but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to look at the year you graduated from college and guess your age.
I bought a mirror months ago just to take a photo series with and propped it against a wall in the guest room. I'm just waiting for a good excuse to put it to work!
No time for me getting into anything else, Maggie other than my one photo a day, but will support those involved. This is such a beautiful b & w shot....so vintage! Love it!
Let me know when it starts. I will have to get a mirror. I don't think I can drag the bathroom one outside lol. It sounds like a great idea and a good challenge:)
@pammerritt Starts tomorrow, Sunday, May 13. I gave you the link on another comment! Try Walmart. They are light weight and very inexpensive. That's where mine came from. Thank you! I look forward to seeing your pics! xo
@grannysue I was a graphic designer, Linda. Not too much need for that any longer unless you want a "web" graphic designer. I would be willing do to just about anything right now though.
@marlboromaam My company just filled two positions for Customer Service in Fort Worth, both ladies are not spring chickens, but I am not sure of their age. Younger than me. Where do you live, town / state? I can take a look at the openings and let you know.
It is a big company with branches and subsidiaries all over the US, Canada and Mexico and just aquired some facilities in New Zealand. Headquarters is in Cleveland. I will look at the openings tomorrow.
@grannysue That's okay, Linda. I really do appreciate that you cared enough to check into it for me! It was such a thoughtful and kind thing to do! God bless you, gal!
