Southern yellow wood-sorrel... growing wild!

My hen and chicks pot has been empty since the last hard freeze killed the succulent plants in it. Somehow, this little plant found its way to grow out of one of the openings in my old pot. I think I'll let it be.

Southern yellow wood-sorrel is a native wildflower and plant to the southeastern united states. It looks a little like a "shamrock" but is NOT. More on this little plant here... http://www.namethatplant.net/plantdetail.shtml?plant=1002
Beautiful composition,love the B&W. I've seen this wildflower growing here in the UK, I think, lovely little yellow flowers. very delicate foliage.

Nice b&w. I just finished planting some flowers and ridding the bed of "volunteers". Don't know why they grow so easily and I struggle to grow anything else! LOL.

@aslessknownsu Thank you very much, Susan! There are several varieties that look similar to this plant. One that also grows here is native to South America and is an invasive species. I hope the one you see is native to the UK. =)

@sanfil Thank you, Sandra!

@beckys LOL! I really think every gardener goes through that, Becky. Thank you for your comments!
