Uploading very early since I have chores to do and errands to run the next couple of days.
This looks like good shade in 100deg temps! Nice and lacy!

Beautiful shot. Love the light/shade contrasts. It has been very hot here too this weekend. I think it surpassed 40C but a lovely breeze seems to be coming in from the north now, should lower the temperature a bit.

Very pretty shot & gorgeous lighting! We have 2 sweet gums in our yard & although a strong and pretty, they have a powerful root system that is taking over one side of our yard plus they make a mess every winter with all those pods .... but being the fuss budget I am, I rake or pick them up by hand.

@cimes1 Thank you, Carole! Grateful for your comments and visit. They do make a mess and I have two that are diseased and need to be cut down. I will lose a lot of shade when that happens though. The yard will cook in the summer without them to shade those sections.
