Filler from a while back. I've got to set my camera on black and white and get out there and get busy. Too hot this week - back in the triple digits with high humidity levels. I would hate to tell you what my electric bill was this month. =(
Uploading early. Things to do and trying not to get behind on uploads again.
The drops look like crystal they are so brilliant. We just got about an inch of rain last night, that we SO BADLY needed (and need much more). This summer is one for the books, literally.
@rockinrobyn Thank you so much, Robyn! Glad to hear you got a little rain. Hope you get some more showers. I know the midwestern states need it badly! Our local weathermen are pretty good about stating the record highs and lows when they give the present weather conditions. We've only had a few days where we beat some record recorded in the 1950s. It's pretty much typical SC weather here except for the drought we've been in for the past five years. We've gone from severe to moderate, still behind in the water table - but better than it was!
This is so pretty. Great focus and those drops are so incredible clear. We haven't had rain for quite awhile and this morning had a little. Our lawn is looking a little brown.
@yonnie Appreciate your lovely comments, Yvonne! Thank you! It's very dry here, too. We've had some rain to take us out of severe drought status and move us to moderate. But, some plants are turning to dust. We still need rain, too. But the midwest needs it much more!
"Glorious" is the word that comes to my mind, looking at these raindrops! But I may be irrational right now when it comes to viewing rain of any kind (smile).
@dauber Thank you, RL! Really appreciate your comments and I know you need some rain in a real bad way. Wishing you showers without the storms! @amers79 Thank you, Amy!
@skipt07 Thank you, Skip! Appreciate your kind comments! I must admit, I love to shoot the rain drops in the cedar tree. As long as there's light, I can get some pretty bokeh.
