A walk in the woods...

Not a walk in the park. I'd like to share a link of a viral photo of a copperhead snake - hemotoxic venom. Very hard to spot since they are very well camouflaged in leaf clutter - https://www.wilx.com/content/news/Viral-photo-shows-copperhead-snakes-amazing-camouflage-420376274.html

Shot in black and white!
Like this crisp black and white, It is actually not that messy when it is in black and white.

Remind me not to go walking in your woods! I wouldn't be able to put one foot in front of the other! Nice clarity in this light forest!

@maggiemae LOL! I warn everyone that wants to go in there when it's warm and warm is anything above 40. Thank you, Maggiemae!

Lovely black and white shot. You have so many trees and shrubs that I have never even heard of ;-)

I'd be seeing snakes everywhere, every stick, every rustle. Oh wait, no I wouldn't because I would not leave the house!

I'm with Jean, snakes are one creature that un-nerves me something fierce. I do like the various tones and a forest in winter has its own appeal.

@joysabin I have jumped about 10 feet in the air at the sight of a black racer, but didn't know what it was. I have screamed bloody murder at the sight of a copperhead. My neighbor came to the rescue and killed it. LOL! 40 degrees and below, it's fine. They crawl in a hole when it gets that cold. =)
