Shot in black and white. No conversion. I popped one of these open and tried tasting it yesterday... It had no flavor that I could detect and lots of pith - but I didn't get sick or die from it. I think I prefer pomegranates! LOL!
Your camera does a great job with the tonal range on B&Ws. Love the way the fruit is framed with the vines and stems… nice. Your taste test cracked me up… very glad you didn’t “get sick or die.”
@kvphoto LOL! Thank you, KV! For a long time, I thought these were poisonous. Then I learned they were edible, but had never tried one until yesterday. I could eat a blade of grass and get more flavor. I was told they had a lemon-like taste. Uh, no!
@ludwigsdiana Interesting! I think it's a difference in the variety. These are wild and stay green until they rot.
@koalagardens I'm sure they're edible, they just don't have much of a taste. I'll have to cut one open and shoot it. They're supposed to have a lemony flavor. LOL! Still here.
@milestonevisualmedia LOL! Did you read the part about being edible?
@phil_howcroft Sure! Going to come and get one? LOL!
I don't think I've actually ever eaten a passion fruit - love the name of course
@joysabin They are so good! Can't always find them at the grocery store now though.
@dutchothotmailcom Thanks, Esther!
@catcarter19 Thank you very much! I think the ones they grow in Europe and the UK must taste better than these that grow wild here in the states.
@koalagardens I'm sure they're edible, they just don't have much of a taste. I'll have to cut one open and shoot it. They're supposed to have a lemony flavor. LOL! Still here.
@haskar Thank you, Haskar!
@blueberry1222 LOL! Did you really? I don't think I've ever tasted gooseberries.
@k9photo Now I didn't eat any seeds yet, but the pulp was pretty tasteless.
