Just for those who said they couldn't wait. LOL! It isn't a bad story-telling image. Well, I don't think it's bad. 10 layers in Photoshop complete it and you can see the bokeh background makes up part of the dragon.
Anyone have any suggested tweaks? Any real magic will happen when I can eventually color the Photoshop brush objects without turning the whole object the same color. So you get a grayscale image for now.
My first thought was to wonder what it would look like in colour and then I read your narrative although it does have a certain appeal as it is. So creative.
@wakelys Thank you, Susan! No, I can't actually paint flesh on the fairies' skin and give them blue or pink tutus. I can make them all pink or blue and that doesn't look as good as the grayscale.
You can colour images... but it's a lot of work. You copy the image many times over and make them all different colours, then by erasing the top layer bit by bit with each coloured layer you end up with a coloured image. It is a lot of work and you have to merge the image after each colour
@sugarmuser That's what I thought. LOL! Not really wanting to spend that kind of time on one object. I may attempt a fairy later but that will probably be it.
