Shrinking from the heat...

This is plain old daisy fleabane (Erigeron strigosus) shot in black and white. A common wildflower around here that blooms all summer long. The blooms of late May and early June were about the size of a quarter. These late July blooms are smaller than a dime. Hmmm?

Beautiful contrast between the flowers and the darker grass. The hotter summers are changing the flora and the fauna in each part of the World.
