Bare spots...

I'm seeing bare spots. Soon, there will be no leaves left on the trees and plenty on the ground. Shot in monochrome mode - no conversion. Really nicer on black if you care to click through.

Just upgraded to On1 2024... LOL! So much has changed since I got the 2023 version. Back to relearning where things are again.

After last weeks freeze and wind storm there are lots of bare spots around here.

@larrysphotos I can imagine. Some of the oaks around here will hold on to their brown leaves until the new ones push them off in the spring. The maples are bare now, but the sweetgum, oaks, mockernut and dogwood trees have a ways to go yet.

Lovely light - it’s that season again, it always makes me feel a little sad to see the trees lose their leaves when it’s so cold
