Pileated woodpecker...

I heard a racket in the woods! Such squawking and carrying on. There were two of them, but was only able to capture one. I was a good distance away, so I feel lucky to have captured this one.

Aaah!!!! My favourite bird (which i've also seen). The other favourite is the kingfisher, but i've never seen one.

@marlboromaam Woodpeckers? In our park and in the trees around my house (which are no more). Maybe it was another type of woodpecker, as I know they are not just one type. But still, i love them.
