"More to life than having everything." For the album cover challenge and I spent way too much time working on this.
America's bluegrass music has strong ties to the Irish. I thought the outhouse I shot in 2014 fit nicely with the album title. Think of an Irish-Appalachia Bluegrass band! Crazy method to get your group name and album title. It can certainly be a challenge to create an image for it!
Created the cover and gradient for it in InDesign. Photo edited in On1. Shamrocks added with the brush tool in Photoshop. A little cabin and this outhouse were built by my late uncle on his property in the western North Carolina mountains. He built them just for show of what life was like not so very long ago.
@milestonevisualmedia American bluegrass has strong ties to Irish music. Many Irish who migrated to New York during the potato famine found their way to the Appalachian Mountains. My 3rd great-grandfather was one of them and he settled in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina after the Civil War.
