Another study in light and long exposures. The original photo was taken in colour, but came out quite yellow/orange so I converted it over to black & white. I like it, though it feels like a bit of a cheat rather than trying to deal with the colour problems.
I guess if you take a direct photo of a light source like this it's going to blow out no matter what, but I am wondering how I can make sure the photo will print okay. Been looking at a bunch of instructional videos to try to understand histograms and levels and stuff like that.
I'm thinking of trying this again tomorrow using a fill light on my face...
