Another get-pushed response - to take a macro shot of a plant or flower. I don't have a macro lens, unfortunately, but I am pleased with how this turned out. The shallow DOF makes it almost an abstract!
I tried some shots that put the shadows on the wall in focus, but the shape of the cattails are not distinct enough for them to be recognizable when out of focus. Looked too muddy.
