Well Colour Me Happy

I’ve had this succulent in a pot by the front door for ten years. Today was the first time I noticed it flower!
Never too late.

Is it by chance a Jade plant? We had Jade succulents all over our yard, growing up. After so many winters, they started to bloom and would bloom every winter! This flower immediately brought that memory alive! And look! you've got more buds about ready to bloom.

@elatedpixie I think it’s a kalanchoe - flapjack variety. Interesting about the jade flowering too after so many years.

@mazoo thanks! I'll have to look it up! The Jades would look like they were covered in a pretty, light snow, for maybe a week or two... I think these flowers may be a bit more intricate - they are very cool.
