Tony Ridder at the Little Grill

Finally I have something to offer for my get pushed challenge about three weeks ago from @salemslot Paul Wright. The setting is not a bar, but a restaurant where Frank's cousin's son, Tony, was playing last night. I don't think I had ever heard him before. Great music...
But back to the challenge -- It was " a bar or venue of a band or singer in B&W with plenty of noise in the shot either put in yourself or because of the low lighting." I had no trouble getting plenty of noise. Not because of especially low lighting in the place (though Tony was not well lit). Due more to my little camera and my small ability to get as much out of it as it is capable of. I took a bunch of pictures with different combinations of settings and lots of them were pretty crappy. This one is not too bad if you're going for the grainy look. When I got home I made a couple of adjustments to improve the contrast -- and gave a bit more oomph to the noise by using the sharpness slider.
Love the blur with the strumming hand while everything else is so still. Nicely done!

@salemslot Sheesh...I just realized I didn't tag you, Paul. Here at last it my response to your long overdue challenge.

Check out the lovely blur, showing movement of the hand! Nice depiction of the singer.
