Last night (1/3) as I had just gotten into bed I realized I hadn't taken any photos. Now, anyone who looks at my album can see I'm obviously not a purist or a stickler on that point, but I'm trying to get back on track. So I took the iPod (didn't want to go downstairs for the camera) and headed first for the bathroom where the greatest amount of light was. The photo I've posted on Dec 24 (to fill in one of the pesky blank dates) is the result. Then I thought about the words for today (sleep/rest/hibernate). Of course, just by the fact that I was taking the photo instead of staying in bed, going for the sleep/rest aspect was a bit hypocritical. But hibernate I could portray with a photo of the stack of blankets in the big old wardrobe in Dan's room (no worries about waking him -- he was still downstairs on the couch.) The flannel sheet that is draped over the top is still up there from the construction. It was there to protect a mirror I had stashed on top from the dust etc. Because this and the bathroom photo were taken at night indoors with the iPod, they were both pretty grainy. So I ran them through ToonCamera on the iPod so they'd look more like drawings than poor quality photos. :-)
