For this week's theme -- twisted. In the supermarket cheese counter, they have two huge braids of mozzarella. This plain one, and one with some sort of oil and herbs.
As I was taking pictures of them, the woman who works that counter asked what I was doing. When I explained, she said, "Well, I'd be careful taking pictures in here. It's not allowed." (I could be a competitor.) Ooops...I've taken many pictures in there. What a great variety of many-colored things they have. And brightly lit, too!
Well, shucks...That killed my plan to see if a man who is a second or third cousin of mine was working that day in the produce section and ask if I could photograph him when he wasn't swamped. Well, I didn't see him there, anyway. But still...I'll have to find someone to photograph for my get-pushed challenge this week from Lois Webb @so_lo_webb to make an "environmental portrait...a portrait that includes the context of the person in it."
Great theme shot find,Mary! I have been aware for a while, that they don't want people taking pics in their malls and stores. So I try to be fast and not attract attention. :0) but sometimes they still catch you!
Hi Mary, I'm your Get Pushed partner for this week. I've loved looking through your images, you have a great project here. For this week, I'd like you to take a photo of an ordinary household object and make it look interesting.
