You've perhaps heard of the libraries and schools that have "read to a dog" times. I'm betting you haven't heard of "read to a houseplant."
OK I'm afraid this is the best I could come up with for my tags for the tag challenge: duck and leaves. Outdoor leaves are all dead and dry and/or under the snow. On Friday evening I thought perhaps I'd go to the zoo the next day to see their ducks. Silly me...woke up to the snow and lost all desire to go. I did put on boots and walk a few blocks to the library, though. This does double duty -- tag challenge and my get pushed challenge from Bill Fenske @bill_fe to do a selfie. I'm disappointed that my face isn't in clear focus in this shot, but liked it better than the previous attempts, and don't have time to keep fiddling.
