Taken at the Festival of Lights happening on Blue Earth Plaza downtown Manhattan (Kansas) next to the Flint Hills Discovery Center. The shots I took there were in response to the challenge given me by Anita @neatz to "produce a photo which depicts man made vibrant colours."
@neatz Anita, you beat me to it. I uploaded this at home just before leaving for work, and knowing I would be late. So I planned to tag you after I got to work, as the shots I took at the Festival of Lights were partly meant as a response to the challenge you gave me.
I had not realised this was also part of the challenge when I left comment so another lovely response. We have no local lights as part of a cost cutting measure although the two towns nearby have some but not as good as these. However I went to a local garden centre which is very swish and now has a massive expensive shop for antiques and this has provided a lot of shots I hope. Thanks for responding and setting challenge. In the last month you are the first to come through! Have a great christmas and look forward to seeing your shots. I tend to look at the ones I follow more when time is tight.
