dinos fold a paper crane

I was talking to the dinosaurs about the shooting and suicide bombing in Paris and other places in the U.S. and the world. Somehow we got to talking about our atomic arsenal and extinction. I told them about the bombing of Hiroshima and the story of Sadako Sasaki and the thousand paper cranes.

The dinosaurs wanted to learn how to fold paper cranes and fold 1,000 for peace in the world.

Allosaurus and Neanderthal Man have the most dexterous hands so they were elected to do the folding. Trachodon was there to lend support and one of the Triceratops Twins read the directions out loud. He's actually the best reader of all of them -- even Neanderthal Man, who is somewhat embarrassed about that.

The folding was pretty slow going but they eventually got one done. Only 999 to go!

BTW, the dinosaurs were pretty peeved at me. I promised them that we would do the photo shoot outdoors and it was a beautiful sunny day. But, so typical for me, I waited until it was late in the afternoon and not nearly as good natural light. Well, at least we did go outside.
Clever dinos!

I have a half dozen origami books and have yet to fold a single recognizable item. If your Dino's can do it, I really should give it another try.

@dollycreek @bette Thanks. Yep, the dinos have me beat too. I think maybe a long time ago I managed to fold a crane. Or maybe not. I should ask the Allosaurus to teach me how.
