Service Island Scene by mcsiegle

Service Island Scene

This was taken long ago -- at the end of last October. We had stopped at a service island along the highway for a gas and bathroom break stop. While Frank and Dan were still inside the station, I took some pictures. For some reason I've liked this, and decided to use it to fill in the last date this week, rather than subject you to more of the Christmas Lights Display.
Love it, the dash of colour on the truck side adds a point of interest.

Hi Mary! I also really love how all the trucks are blank except for one. Fun shot! For your push this week, I'd like for you to utilize reflections in your composition. Water, Windows, shiny floors, whatever you like!

@emrob Thanks, Mandy. I'll be on the lookout for reflections!

Nice everyday scene made a bit artistic with your composition.

I think it's that one colorful truck amongst all the drab white ones that makes the shot appealing. It's one of those things only a photographer would notice!

Love gas stations. ..always action going on....everyone/vehicle has a story.

Agree with the others: that one truck with all the cereal-box color, against all the other trucks with no signage, really makes the image.
