Love this shot Mary, nice that you have to work to figure out what it is & I'm not sure if you hadn't said I'd have got it. Love the texture and for me it is a really successful abstract.
It looks like you are mastering your Coolpix! We are get pushed partners for the next week. You challenge is to shoot a fork, knife, or spoon (or any combination thereof). The utensil(s) need not be your primary subject but should figure prominently in your artistic vision. Sound ok? If not, let me know and I'll set another challenge. Have fun!
