Straight up into the tree

Robert @rminkler gave me the get pushed challenge of high key. The title is enough explanation, I think.
This one is really pretty in high key. The colors and composition are terrific.

Great, there is such wonderful detail and texture in the trunk but the softness of the leaves makes it special.

Hi Mary! Thank you so much for your challenge. I want to challenge you to try to take a photo that captures what Henri Cartier-Bresson meant by "The Decisive Moment". It does not have to be a street photo, but anything where timing matters. Here is an article that can help you with this task - also written primarily about street photography, it can be applied otherwise as well. Let me know if that would not work and I can come up with something else. http://erickimphotography.com/blog/2010/07/01/“how-to-masterthe-decisive-moment”/

@vera365 Thanks. I certainly will read the article and see what I can do in response to the challenge.
