A portrait of Nelo, my son's cat (otherwise affectionately know as my furry granddaughter). For my get pushed challenge from Kathy Boyles @kathyboyles to do a portrait of her (Nelo, not Kathy). :-)
@kathyboyles Here's a picture of Nelo. It's not at all sharp, as it was taken in the evening with the iPod. But I'm pleased that you can see her eyes so clearly in this; so often they disappear into the blackness of the fur around them.
@edorreandresen I was holding something that many other cats would consider a treat - a bit of chicken. But Nelo was only interested in briefly sniffing it. Both she and Tiger, the cat my mother had for a while before he disappeared are/were the dumbest cats. I hate to call her dumb, but not at all interested in real meat. Go figure! Our old cats, when they were living, would have made short work of any chicken offered to them. Is this a "new generation" kind of thing?
Hello! As you know i'm your delayed get pushed partner for this week. Therefore, as this week will end on the last day of 2017, i'd like you to take a photo with a theme based off your favorite moment of 2017.
It can be done in any way you wish, a recreation or abstract or anything in between! If that doesn't sound appealing (or makes no sense) then i'll of course pick something else!
