Olive Oil

Fracoise @francoise challenged me to take photos featuring words. This is what resulted from first using the magnifying feature on my iphone to read some very fine print, with less than ideal results, but I kind of liked the effect when severely cropping. But then I decided I surely could do better and started instead using just the phone camera. The first was too sharp for what I intended, even when cropping. So I tried again, putting the bottle up on an overturned basket and purposely focusing on the counter level below. Much better.
@francoise I hope you like this. I didn't get going with word photos until toward the end of the week, but then starting seeing photo material everywhere.

This almost has an abstract effect.

We are get-pushed partners, again. I keep thinking of an idea. Then, I look at your albums and see that you've done that. Then, I come up with another idea. She's done that. You've probably done this one, too, but not lately.
How about shooting a nighttime street scene. Some Christmas lighting in town might make a good subject, or maybe some light trails from traffic.

@tdaug80 Thanks for the challenge. It will force me out with my camera. I need that. Sorry I’m so late giving you a challenge.

@tdaug80 Well, I’m even late in telling you that I needed to give you a rain check. So sorry. Several evenings I thought of going out, and then didn’t do it. No good compelling reasons for the failure...long “To Do” list. Chilly outside. Knee/leg aches. I do intend to go out some evening, and will tag you if I come back with a suitable photo to post. So Saturday evening I again stayed in rather than going out, got out the camera and tripod and experimented with settings for shooting the Christmas Tree and it’s ornaments. So I was learning some Things.
