I bought the pin badge at the National World War One Museum and Memorial in Kansas City, where the North American Welsh Choir gave a concert Sunday morning. We also sang a song at the beginning and another at the end of a webinar on the Welsh Women's Peace Initiative later that afternoon. As I was going through various things on our shelves yesterday I came across this book produced in 1918 by the United States Food Administration -- Food Saving and Sharing. On the title page it says "Telling How the Older Children of America May Help Save from Famine Their Comrades in Allied Lands Across the Sea."
