@vignouse Thanks, Richard. I am particularly pleases with the shots I got the other day. I know what you mean though. Last year I didn't get very good photos of it... actually, for me, not just this magnolia tree, but also so many things I try to photograph just don't come anywhere near what I'm seeing with my eyes. I guess that's why God gave us memories. :-)
@alicias Thanks. It really is, and will be gone sooner than we'd like. But each year my supervisor especially looks forward to looking out the window at this beautiful tree. This shot was taken from the ground, not the office window, though.
Gorgeous! I am not sure where you live, but where I live, Magnolias are the trees with the big, shiny green leaves and the BIG white blossoms. We call these pink trees Lotus blossom trees, but we are probably calling them by the wrong name! haha This is gorgeous! By any name, the blooms would smell as sweet, as our old buddy Shakespeare said.
@espyetta Ya, know...I'm just going with what my supervisor told me. I had no prior knowledge of what a magnolia tree looked like. But you live down south in what I imagine to be Magnolia land. So I'd better go online and check...just a sec...be right back...
Ah... well, I guess there are both. A quick Google image search led me to Bluegrass Gardens (not sure where they are located, but from the name, maybe KY).
