June Dinosaurs # 5

And my June Fun Month comes to an end with this shot. But the Rhamphorhynchus and the two Neanderthal Men are just about to begin their adventures at SweetWood. On Monday they’re heading north with me for the annual Freedom Festival. I think the Rhamphorhynchus has been to SweetWood before, but the Neanderthal Men haven’t, and they are really stoked. They wanted to bring all sorts of gear, but I convinced them to pack light. So they’re each just bringing their one club (smile). Here you see them trying out their travel accommodations in the side pocket of my suitcase.
May they enjoy their jaunt- you too.

It looks like their accommodations are perfect for them at least for the travel. Looking forward to the adventures that they get into once you arrive

@joysabin @lanikyea @randystreat @grammyn Thanks. We’ll take lots of photos. Right now I’m using the free WiFi at McDonalds in Des Moines — half way mark. Katie, your phrase “adventures that they get into” gave me a moment of panic, until I remembered these are not The Triceratops Twins, but the mature and sensible Neanderthal Men, and the Rhamphorhynchus, who admittedly can sometimes be a bit of a daredevil, but would never run off and leave the NM, who often need help standing steadily. For years the Trachodon was the constant companion and helper of Neanderthal Man. Then I got New Neanderthal Man and the adult Apatosaurus lent a hand. Somewhere along the line we discovered the Rhamphorhynchus was able to support both together.
